LifeLock, TransUnion partnership established

Life just got better for LifeLock members.

The identity theft services company announced today that they’ll be working more closely with credit bureau TransUnion to place fraud alerts, request members’ credit reports and reduce the amount of junk mail their members receive—the fundamentals of LifeLock’s strategy.

“Taking care of our members just became easier,” said Todd Davis, LifeLock CEO. “We have been looking to develop a business solution with the credit bureaus that takes advantage of leading technology and provides our members with a process unchallenged in our industry.”

This unprecedented agreement between the titans—one, a leader in the identity theft services industry, and the other, a global leader in credit and information management—will streamline and strengthen LifeLock’s identity theft services.

“We believe in empowering consumers through education and choice,” said Mark Marinko, TransUnion president of Consumer Services. “This effort will help ensure that regardless of whether consumers choose to manage their own credit directly through the services TransUnion provides or authorize LifeLock to handle those kinds of responsibilities on their behalf, their requests and personal information will be handled in a highly efficient and secure manner.”

Life Lock provides their nearly 1.5 million members with the most innovative and comprehensive identity theft services available. Visit their website at LifeLock.com to learn more about the services and strategies that make them the industry leader.
