Sometimes we buy things to solve our problems. For example, my husband and I just bought a new riding mower to help take care of our new, larger lawn. I’m about to buy a bicycle to help take care of my new, larger…dress size.

Other times, we get really smart and buy things that keep us from having problems. In my own case, a gym membership or a home treadmill to help me stay in shape in the first place would’ve been a great idea.
